[ONLINE] TOO FEMALE FOR FRIDAY PRAYER

My latest piece for Medium looks at something that’s always troubled me. The exclusion or segregation of women from mosques. Here’s a taste: "Being a back-room congregant takes its toll. It’s hard to feel fully accepted in a place where you are deliberately made to feel invisible — even if you go there to get closer to a God you believe sees you as an equal among equals."
